How do we build universally accessible housing?

Join Focus Attitude and Commitment to Excellence, a team of DC homeless and formerly homeless advocates, for their second town hall style event. The audience of housed and un-housed community members will pose questions to experts about building affordable housing. Please add your voice to the deliberation- an intentional discussion towards making a decision.

  • Government support to build affordable housing, ex: Title V of the McKinney Vento Act, National Housing Trust Fund, etc.
  • Renovating abandoned structures in DC
  • Private funding sources and incentives to build
  • Universal accessibility- physical, mental, financial, location, livelihood, community, etc.
