While riding Metro during the morning rush, I heard the train operator say, “Excuse me passengers – this train will be moving momentarily.”
About 10 minutes later, the operator said once again “this train will be moving momentarily.”
Another five minutes and he said the same thing. Another passenger in my car went to the intercom and asked how many times the operator was going to say that. So many people were upset.
The train finally began moving. But, two stops later, it stopped again.
“Attention customers, we have a red signal,” said the operator.
Twenty minutes later, we reached Metro Center.
“Thank you for riding Metro. Sorry for the delay, while we improve and upgrade the Metrorail system.”
